"Do not live as if you had a thousand years ahead.
Destiny is just a step away, make yourself good while
life and strength are still yours."

Marco Aurelio, 121-180

How vain madness seems that leads us to undertake the greatest feats of a lifetime, but undoubtedly, in the end, those are the ones that will accompany us in our last breath!

It is enough for me to look back at the past years, at the effort made, all the paths traveled, all the money invested, and all my doubts, but also, like a flame in the night, at my convictions. That alone is enough for me to know that everything was worthwhile and, in fact, continues to be.

It only takes a moment to verify that all the work was not in vain—never was—and that there is only one way to stay the course because there is no other way to move forward. It is there, where motivation falters and passion runs out, where the game ends and turns into a struggle, it is precisely there, where only the steadfastness of a stoic spirit can persevere.

It only takes a sigh, just one, barely catching my breath again, to return with even more strength to my purpose. What more can I ask for, as I lack nothing? What more do I need, other than my own zeal? What more can I learn that will serve me on this journey?

All I need is a destination, a point on the horizon to reach. Just that, and nothing more.

How vain madness seems that leads us to undertake the greatest feats of a lifetime, but undoubtedly, in the end, those are the ones that will accompany us in our last breath!
